| Title | In a few words |
| Star Wars: Episode II -
Attackof the
Clones |
Better
than Episode I, Empire theme music startedto show up... Anakin's scenes
with Padme' were a bit creepy and why doesYado need that walking stick ? |
| Spiderman |
Very
enjoyable and seems to hold fairly well to the comic story and
background. I'm looking forward to the next one. |
| Ice
Age |
Cute
way to spend a couple of hours, nice endingand not too deep. |
| Time
Machine, The |
Enjoyable
with a plot that is similar to GeorgePals film, a bit more action and
great FX and a slightly different ending. |
| Kate
and Leopold |
A
sweet romantic comedy with some time travel built in. |
| Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius | Intreresting graphics and amusing, although the story is aimed at people a bit younger than I am. |
|
Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The |
Intense
and complex story, pretty involving although I didn't like the abrupt
ending and having to wait another year for the second part. |
| Monster's Inc. | Pretty neat movie, a bit sappy in spots. Greatgraphics. |
| K-PAX | Intriguing plot. |
| Serendipity | I'll be looking inside book covers.. Sweet story and I likethe accent.. |
| Legally Blonde | A nice story and blondes get respect ! |

| Rat Race | Enjoyed the helicopter pilot actress, some of the humor wasa bit too broad for me, some wasn't. |
| Planet of the Apes | Nicely "re-imagined", I was dissappointed at the surprise ending. It's seemed a bit cheap. |
| Jurassic Park III | Better than the 2nd, it screamed sequel at the end. |
| Final Fantasy | Impressive visuals and technology, not so impressive story |
| A.I. | Seemed to be 3 movies, neat visuals though |
| Tomb Raider | Fun, fast and busy film with lot's of action scenes and scenery. |
| Evolution | I need to buy some shampoo, just in case |
| What's the Worst That Could Happen? | Some laughs, mildly humorous. A bit too broad in parts. |

| Mummy Returns, The | I liked it better than the first movie ! |

| Someone Like You | The narritive was not what I expected although it kind of fit the movie and main character. Predicitable ending but funny and pleasent to watch. |

| Miss Congeniality | A corny type of funny, I'm for world peace now. |
| What Woment Want | Now I know the answer |
| 6th Day, The | Lots of fast and no slow motion action and a interesting plot dilemma. |
| Charlies Angels | Other than the obvious visual and nostaglic attraction theycould have done more. The slow motion action is getting old and the rewindto explain the scene in slow motion did not appeal to me. |
| Bedazzled | Visually appealing. Some parts very funny, some parts too obviously tried to be funny. |
| Meet the Parents | Some parts very funny, some parts too obviously tried to befunny. |
| What Lies Beneath | Not predictable and involving and worth watching if you want a good creepy film. |
| Space Cowboys | Predictible but fun, do I need to say predictable again ? |
| X-Men | Good action scenes and some fun twisted one liners. |
| Chicken Run | I liked Wallace and Gromit and liked this as well. Remindedme a bit of Hogan's Heroes. |

| Mission Impossible: 2 | Better than the first, lot's of action. |
| Battlefield Earth | I didn't know the shelf life of a Harrier was 1000 years. Not horrid like I expected, not real good either. |

| Erin Brockovich | Very enjoyable, sad to see what a corporation could do to people but with a satisfying end. |
| Whole Nine Yards, The | Surprisingly dark and twisted comedy. |
| Mission to Mars | Bring some caffeine to the theatre with you. SFX are interesting but the plot is dumb, predicatble, goofy at times. |

| Thomas Crown Affair | I've not seen the original but the plot kept me intrigued and involved. |
| Runaway Bride | Another funny and sweet film starring Julia Roberts. No real surprises but enjoyable. |
| Wild West | Would have been better had it been more faithful to the TV series and the movie's time period |

| The Prince of Egypt | An entertaining way to tell the story. |
| Waking Ned Devine | A bit twisted, a bit funny, a smidgen romantic. |
| Enemy of the State | Enough action to pass the time (2 1/2 hours), but the charactors made some dumb decisions which prevented it from being more. |
| You've got Mail | Annoying at first but it grew on me. |
| Star Trek Insurrection | A good TV episode on the big screen, a bit high on the "corn" meter including the joystick scene. |
| Meet Joe Black | Not what I expected, a enjoyable mix of comedy, tragidy andintrigue (the 3 hours passed fairly quickly). |

While trying to sit through "Godzilla", I found myself nodding off. How
is it possible to make a movie about a20+ story lizard boring?
Certainly the "film"-makers took classes in howgo out of your way to
uninterest an audience. Being perfectly fair, I didn't see the whole
film. Perhaps it got better (could it have gotten worse?) after I left.
When the baby lizards began eating popcorn at Madison Square Garden and
our "hero" said, "Oops, wrong floor", I checked out.

Well, it wasn't garbage, but like a few of the otherwise forgettable tv episodes, it wasn't exactly memorable. I'm not going to lambast it because I like the show & its stars...but...isn't this just a 2.35:1 widescreen edition of a tv episode? It was nothingmore than an attempt to keep us busy between season's end and season'sbeginning. And hey, what's with the "necessity" to view the final episodeof season 5? It had less than NOTHING to do with it...

"There's Something About Mary". There certainly is. And I think I know what it is. It's crass, vulgar, rude, insensitive and infantile. Yet, in spite of these things, it does have a few heartylaughs. Perhaps not in spite of, more like BECAUSE of. It's not art. It'scommerce. Be warned, they get away with things that I've never before seenin an [R] rated movie. And believe me, I've been to a few movies in my time...

I've seen the new Van Damme movie "Knock Off" (3 times already) and
it's kung fu banzai to the max. It won't be a hit but stylish it is.
That's all Folks.
